Supremo does not use an opaque score for reorder timing. The threshold is built from three operational inputs a merchant can inspect and correct.
The result answers when replenishment should begin, not a guarantee of future demand.
The workflow
The calculation, step by step
- 1Calculate average daily sales from the last 30 days of Shopify orders.
- 2Multiply that rate by supplier lead time in days.
- 3Convert configured safety-stock days into units.
- 4Add lead-time demand and safety-stock units, then recalculate hourly.

Worked example
Eight units per day multiplied by a seven-day lead time equals 56 units. Three days of safety stock equals 24 units. The reorder point is 80 units.
