A useful plan must distinguish supplier replenishment from an internal transfer. Buying more is not always the right response when stock is already available elsewhere.

Choose between purchasing and transferring

- 3Check whether another location can supply the shortage before buying more.
- 4Create a tracked transfer or a supplier purchase order, then receive it at the destination.

A retail location reaches its reorder threshold. Before placing a supplier order, the team sees enough inventory in a warehouse and creates a transfer. Supremo tracks the quantity sent, in transit, and received so the destination stock can be reconciled.
